My squid box contained : ntlm_auth + CentOS + squid 2.7. It's
work fine for authenticate over windows 2003 AD. But, in some case, my
user use some website such as
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/, this webpage contain
external link in download session. Let's me explain the problem into
step by step
- My user open new safari or IE browser
- He connect to http://www.apple.com then he put his login/password
into pop-up windows.
- After login, it's ok to open page that contain http://www.apple.com/.
- Then he click to "Download
Quicktime"(http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/). The new pop-up
window is opened. It's three time of login progress. I think url
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/ should has 3 external links.
So squid think that use reopen new session than it try to recheck
login/password.
Any idea about fix this problem ? I don't know that other browser
act like above problem?
A) Do you have interception happening on thee connections?
B) Try not to use known-to-be-broken browser software: Internet
Explorer, Safari, maybe others.
