Hi :)

1 - I *think* webmin has this feature - not sure how to do it directly 
with squid.

2 - As above

3 - export HTTP_PROXY="squid:port" wget <all the urls>

3a - It wont be 100% sure if the object will be stored as squid will work 
it out (using policies etc)
