I was chasing down the streaming media glitches that I've been experiencing in linux for the past few years, believing it was always at the client end. Is there any chance of the workaround being forward-ported to squid-3? Obviously it's non-intrusive, since it simply adds a config option... Unfortunately it is extremely intrusive on the code side. Squid-3 does a lot more request upgrading toward HTTP/1.1 than Squid-2 did when it was added. So the patch is taking longer than expected to get right.
I'm hoping for a port to be available for Squid-3.1/3.2. Amos -- Please be using Current Stable Squid 2.7.STABLE5 or 3.0.STABLE12 Current Beta Squid 3.1.0.3
