Also, I want to add that I was using the samba suite 3.0.28-1.el5_2.1 with Centos 5.2 Today I upgraded to samba 3.2.7-0.23 and still the same problem. Squid seems to run fine, but samba NTLM helpers are going to R state one by one. Should I try using ntlm_auth from squid instead of the one from samba3 suite?
