You can't. Oce the request has reached the proxy the proxy must respond with someting. If it fails retreiving the requested object the polite thing is to respond with an error message explaining what happened and what the user can do to fix the peoblem. If you fo not want to be polite to the users then you MAY change the error pages to just a blank page with no visible content, but there still needs to be somr kind of response. > Is this possible without editing source code?
