But probably something else as you are using a parent proxy..

no, your squid.conf seems fine..

Or maybe the reverse lookup is delaying.. Your corpnet acl will reverse lookup the IP to see if it's within the corp.local domain.

As you get NONE/- in the hierarchy field Squid hasn't even contacted the netcache yet (almost 5 seconds, client aborted)
