Consider the following case:
You have a blog application, and use Squid as reverse proxy to cache
the dynamic pages.
Ideally, if user updated an article, you need to purge all pages from
the blog (consider all pages contains a sidebar item of recent
articles - need to be updated),
Sure you can't loop all the pages and do the purge one by one...
Then you need a way to purge by domain or subdomain, or even by
folder...
