Hello list, I'm new on the list I have a particular problem, I have a server based on debian running squid, all the users use this server as a proxy server, this server redirects the peticion to the firewall, the thing is that sometimes when the users try to access the internet they have this error

The requested URL could not be retrieved

While trying to retrieve the URL: www.google.com:443

The following error was encountered:

Unable to determine IP address from host name for /www.google.com/
The dnsserver returned:

Refused: The name server refuses to perform the specified operation.
This means that:

The cache was not able to resolve the hostname presented in the URL. Check if the address is correct.

Anybody can help me with this???

Maybe. First thing is to upgrade. We are at 2.7 and 3.0 now, either should suit a move up from 2.5.
