There is no difference between 2.6 and 2.7 how the internal DNS resolver accesses the DNS servers. Both uses udp_outgoing_address (or _incoming if _outgoing not set) as source address. Just a wild guess, but maybe your squid-2.6 is built with --disable-internal-dns making it fall back on the OS provided dns resolver? Regards Henrik
