Subject: Re: Warning message but Squid running
Dear All,
I just tried to use Squid 3 S6. This is my first installation as I used
Squid 2 so far.
I found warning message :
2008/05/21 10:07:08| WARNING: '0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0' is a subnetwork of
'0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0'
2008/05/21 10:07:08| WARNING: because of this '0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0' is ignored
to keep splay tree searching predictable
2008/05/21 10:07:08| WARNING: You should probably remove '0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0'
from the ACL named 'all'
Here is the squid.conf :
<snip>
Squid is running as normal as older version. But I need advise, is it
normal? What parameter did I miss?
It's normal and only a minor problem. The 'all' ACL is fully built-in to
3.x and you can safely remove it from your config.

Thanks a lot.
Seems Squid 3 becomes more efficient (and simpler ?) than the older version.
Thx & Rgds,
