I've tried to use squid 2.6, but it complains can not connect to parent server:

But I can connect to parent with wget while squid can't.

Interesting. Looks like we have a callback problem somewhere.
Can you file a bug report please with that "assertion failed" lines and
some preceeding cache.log trace when "debug_options ALL,5 5,9" is used
in squid.conf.
