Would those who regularly benchmark their Squid 2.6/2.7 installations comment on the procedure they use? I'm setting up a (Linux-based) Squid v2.7 system and have several decisions to make about the software/hardware to use. I'd like to tune the system for best responsiveness and don't want to just speculate as to what works best. Thanks.
