Adrian, Actually I didn't use wireshark at all ... I found some info on Squid not supporting HTTP 1.1 and I just disabled it ... seemed to be the solution. I *could* do the whole exercise again with wireshark of course, but I do not have X11 installed and I was not certain if wireshark would do the same in plain console mode (never used it) or does it?
