Hello Adrain,

I have done the default compilation (without any configure options)
with http://www.squid-cache.org/Versions/v2/HEAD/ .
The configuration directives given below are uncommented in the
squid.conf file and hence causes warning as given below
htcp_access allow localnet
htcp_access deny all

2007/12/20 11:40:43| parseConfigFile: line 704 unrecognized:
'htcp_access allow localnet'
2007/12/20 11:40:43| parseConfigFile: line 705 unrecognized:
'htcp_access deny all'

How about commenting these two directives by default.

Strange. They are marked for dependancy on HTCP support.
I'm just building it clean to see what happens.

Amos

Thanks,
Sekar

Hi everyone,

The Squid-2.7 release should be tagged any day now, so we'd appreciate
it if people currently using Squid-2.6 in high-traffic environments
could give Squid-2.HEAD a whirl.
Is there a 2.6S17 --> 2.7S1 changelog?
http://www.squid-cache.org/Versions/v2/HEAD/

I'm not sure if the changelog currently covers everything.

What aspects of 2.7 need to be verified/confirmed?
That it works without any issues. :)

Please use Squid 2.6STABLE17 or 3.0STABLE1.
There are serious security advisories out on all earlier releases.
