Hi list,

Can someone please suggest the best configuration parameters like
cache size, cache algorithm, FQDN memory size, etc. for Squid to cache
effectively?

To add to that, use a log analyzer such as Scalar (check the links at http://www.squid-cache.org/Scripts/ for others) to gauge your usage patterns. Set maximum_object_size and the replacement policies to suit your goals (LFUDA with a large max_object_size for byte hit ratio, GDSF and a smaller max_object_size for object hit ratio).
