Hi guys, I setted up a squid installation for an Internet Cafe, a network with 14 machines. In a few machines, Internet Explorer just hangs when trying to show a page, it shows it completely but it hangs inmediately after that. I'm using squid 2.6, on Slackware 11. There are 2 strange things: 1.- it works perfectly for 10 machines 2.- It works perfectly for other browsers, Opera for example, on the same machine. Is there any similar known problem regarding IE and Squid? This is my squid.conf (options not shown are set to their default value) http_port 3128 ssl_unclean_shutdown on hierarchy_stoplist cgi-bin ? acl QUERY urlpath_regex cgi-bin \? cache deny QUERY acl apache rep_header Server ^Apache broken_vary_encoding allow apache cache_mem 16 MB maximum_object_size 4096 KB minimum_object_size 0 KB cache_dir ufs /var/lib/squid/cache 1000 16 256 access_log /var/lib/squid/logs/access.log squid cache_log /dev/null cache_store_log none log_fqdn off refresh_pattern ^ftp: 1440 20% 10080 refresh_pattern ^gopher: 1440 0% 1440 refresh_pattern . 0 20% 4320 acl maquinas src 192.168.1.0/24 acl all src 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0 acl manager proto cache_object acl localhost src 127.0.0.1/255.255.255.255 acl to_localhost dst 127.0.0.0/8 acl SSL_ports port 443 563 acl Safe_ports port 80 # http acl Safe_ports port 21 # ftp acl Safe_ports port 443 563 # https, snews acl Safe_ports port 70 # gopher acl Safe_ports port 210 # wais acl Safe_ports port 1025-65535 # unregistered ports acl Safe_ports port 280 # http-mgmt acl Safe_ports port 488 # gss-http acl Safe_ports port 591 # filemaker acl Safe_ports port 777 # multiling http acl CONNECT method CONNECT http_access allow manager localhost http_access deny manager http_access deny CONNECT !SSL_ports http_access deny to_localhost http_access allow maquinas http_access deny all http_reply_access allow all icp_access allow all memory_pools_limit 25 MB forwarded_for off client_db off uri_whitespace allow coredump_dir none Thanks in advance.
