Problem while using reply_body_max_size

Hi,
I am trying to configure my squid to block users from downloading
anything less than 3MB. But when I  give reply_body_max_size 3000  I
am unable to view certain website like www.microsoft.com.
Is there something else that I should add to this line or is it totally wrong?
