Hi,
I don't have any special settings except those I
picked from:
http://www.squid-cache.org/mail-archive/squid-users/200708/0302.html

namely:
refresh_pattern windowsupdate.com/.*\.(cab|exe) 4320
100% 43200 reload-into-ims

And until recently, I was getting terrible sigle digit
hit rate. I don't know what has happened, I guess
windowsupdate.com did something, and that is why I
posted it to the list.

My understanding was each update was a differential of
each persons installation and the update package,
making it unique to each client, hence the poor hit
rate. Something has changed!

Regards,
solomon.
