Dear Tek, Thanks for your intent to help. I have updated squid to 2.6 Squid is loaded on the fedora 6 server which has two LAN cards (web & Internal) and present sole purpose of this server is of Internet sharing, which is doing perfectly. But outlook .......? IPTABLES is not running on the box presently. (though I am planning to activate that in very new future.) All the mail clients are having the same problem on the lan windows clients. Where as when I have tried same on the proxy server (where squid is loaded), mail clients is working perfectly. access.log has no record for this. I haven't tried telnet from client.
