Hello Tek Bahadur Limbu,

Thanks for reply.

Output of 'squid -v' follows:

Squid Cache: Version 2.5.STABLE12
configure options: --enable-dlmalloc --enable-snmp
--enable-dlmalloc --enable-storeio=diskd,ufs
--enable-large-cache-files

I am running wccp in the server forgot to mention this
though.

The hardware is HP Proliant with 4GB RAM and approx
70 GB SCSI HDD. I dont find any logs relating to HW
error in the log files.

Also to be noted that such error logs arise only
during the peak hour and after that there is no error
log against squid.

I did read the post from Henrick. And I will try to
scrutinize my hardware and am also thinking of
upgrading to latest version.

Thanks again.

Tahmeed
