Sorry, I operate in the normal Internet world of things, not very
familiar with WAP gateways, GPRS and related terminology.

Squid is a HTTP proxy. It can be accessed by HTTP clients. When using
WAP the WAP gateway is a WAP<->HTTP gateway, wich makes it an HTTP
client on behalf of the WAP device. How to configure the WAP gateway
HTTP client component to use an HTTP proxy to access HTTP should be
found in the documentation to your WAP gateway.

I am not very familiar with how MMS distribution works, but I suppose
the MMS content gets stored at some server until the client pulls them
after the initial SMS kind of notice about MMS message availability. If
there is a step in that chain using HTTP then Squid can plug in there.
But it's unclear to me what the benefit would be unless there is
mass-distribution of the same content..

Squid do not help you much in the push side of things..

Henrik
