is there any patch for squid 2.6 stable 6 for ICAP support. i cant
seem to find it. there is a patch available for squid2.5. Will it also
work for 2.6?
and what is the command for that?

with due apologies for this previous mail of mine.. with a little more search i found the patch on the squid site itself.. however there seems to be a little problem with it...
when i run siddhesh@Siddhesh:/usr/local/src/squid-2.6.STABLE6$ sudo patch -p1 < icap-2_6.patch
(though i am not sure of this command, i found it on the net... )
i get the following error...

Perhaps you used the wrong -p or --strip option?
