OK. I made the recommended changed but got the same
result.  Any other help??  Someone out there must be
using Squid with heap?!

[root@prock squid]# /usr/local/squid/sbin/squid -v
Squid Cache: Version 2.5.STABLE10
configure options:  --prefix=/usr/local/squid
--enable-ssl --with-maxfd=8192
'--enable-removable-policies=heap lru'


[root@prock squid]# /usr/local/squid/sbin/squid -z

ERROR: Unknown policy heap

abnormally.
