You can use SSL between Squid and the LDAP. IT's just to tell the
helpers to use SSL or TLS.

In theory it's possible to use SSL between the client and Squid as well,
but unfortunately no clients supports SSL encrypted proxies.. Squid
supports this via the https_port directive.
