For me it fails both with and without the proxy.
Here works fine using 2.6 STABLE4 on Windows 2003 R2.
In a packet analysis I see the connection being established, the request
being sent and received by the server (ACK), but then there is complete
silence. Looks like the connection has been blackholed at the server.
Looking into an error page, the site seems to run Microsoft IIS.
Linux boycotting ??? :-)
