Add the proxy-URL to the Intranet Zone in Internet Explorer! MediaPlayer 9 + doesn't recognize if the proxy is in the local intranet zone and doesn't send username and password! Internet Explorer runs perfectly, without any kind of problem, but when you try to start a box with windows media player (9 or 10), you receive an authentication box / prompt.
