Hi,

Thanks for your reply.
I uppgraded to 2.6,

The cache.log file now seems to acknowledge that there are siblings
with the following lines:
2006/09/29 21:34:52| Configuring Parent 127.0.0.1/82/0
2006/09/29 21:34:52| Configuring Sibling squid2/80/3130
2006/09/29 21:34:52| Configuring Sibling squid3/80/3130

but I still see misses where I would expect to see sibling hits.

I also see this in the cache.log file. Don't know what to make of it:

2006/09/29 21:35:25| temporary disabling (Not Found) digest from 127.0.0.1
2006/09/29 21:36:32| temporary disabling (Service Unavailable) digest
from rele105
2006/09/29 21:37:32| temporary disabling (Service Unavailable) digest
from rele107
2006/09/29 21:40:25| temporary disabling (Not Found) digest from 127.0.0.1
2006/09/29 21:41:32| temporary disabling (Forbidden) digest from squid2
2006/09/29 21:42:32| temporary disabling (Forbidden) digest from squid3
2006/09/29 21:47:27| Detected DEAD Sibling: squid2
2006/09/29 21:47:27| Detected REVIVED Sibling: squid2
2006/09/29 21:50:25| temporary disabling (Not Found) digest from 127.0.0.1
2006/09/29 21:51:32| temporary disabling (Forbidden) digest from squid2
2006/09/29 21:52:32| temporary disabling (Forbidden) digest from squid3

The configuration is largely the same, exept for the following instead
of http_accel:
http_port 80 vhost
cache_peer 127.0.0.1 parent 82 0 no-query originserver
cache_peer squid2 sibling 80 3130
cache_peer squid2 sibling 80 3130

port 3130 is open on all 3 machines.

Thanks.

Don't remember much of the "accelerator" mode in 2.5, but I can't
remember any reasons why siblings in accelerator mode would not work..

Please try with 2.6. Memory much clearer there, and no interest to dive
back into the 2.5 swamp.

Regards
Henrik
