I have found some script. But all does not work,
Can anyone have any script that performs good in in Redhat entertrise linux
ws version 4?

Is that squid the version that shipped with RHEL? If it is then your best
bet
is to contact them. If you've compiled it then I'd make sure you've put
the startup script from the squid source tools/ subdirectory into
/etc/init.d
and created the relevant symlinks.
