I'm lazy, and hate remembering commands like that. I have a shell script: $ cat squidtime.sh #!/bin/sh p erl -p -e 's/^([0-9]*)/"[".localtime($1)."]"/e' (yeah, yeah, it's a sh script that calls perl.
