Not really, no. But it does open a few ports all of which quite specific
to Squid..

  http_port  (tcp 3128, or any other tcp port you have specified)

  icp_port   (udp 3130)

  htcp_port  (udp 4827 if enabled)
  
  snmp_port  (udp 3401 if enabled)

Check the bmc agent logs for any signs of errors.

You could also try starting them in reverse order (bmc agent first,
Squid when it's running) and watch the Squid logs to see if there is
anything Squid complains on with the bmc agent running..
