Hi list,We're planning to use Squid as a reverse proxy for availability purposes. The idea is to break some rules by setting the cache to be very aggressive and very persistent:
refresh_pattern . 10080 100% 10080 ignore-reload override-lastmod override-expire
Provided there is enough disk space:- Is it alright to assume that should the origin webserver be down for a long period of time, Squid will continue to serve all cached pages reliably for a time up to 10080 ?
Cheers, Eb. -- EBB
