I have a web server that has more load than it can handle. Rather than
move to a faster server, I was wondering if I can run squid on another
server as a proxy, maybe by translating www.mydomain.com to
web.mydomain.com to cache the site?

I have configured a test system and it is proxying the target server, however, no caching is happening. I have looked at the page source but I can't see headers that would prevent it, what could be the reason? In the log excerpt below, I have set log_mime_hdrs to 'on' so the logs are pretty verbose.
