I have a new problem on a squidNT proxy, when the server start, in cache.log i found these lines: # #2005/12/13 14:41:34| Performing DNS Tests... #2005/12/13 14:41:34| DNS name lookup tests failed... # At this moment, my internet link was down, and squid refused to start. 2 questions :) 1] what are these DNS lookups & 2] what can i do to let the service start even if the internet link is down thanks for your replies Guillaume
