I have a single squid box running FreeBSD that is behaving very strangely. With certain types of media files, most notably mp3, ra and wmv files, squid lists them as mime type text/html. Another oddity is that when requesting these types of files, the IP of the squid box shows up as the source of the file, rather than the original server. Its almost as if squid thinks it has the item in the cache, regardless of the fact that the object is a cache miss. Has anyone seen this behavior before? An example from the box's access.log is below.
