When there is the problem I have controlled initially with top the
eventual problems of resources.
The use of the memory by squid is approximately 3/4%. Also the memory
and the swap had many free resources.

> What does cache log say?

I've many kind of message like the follow:

sslReadServer: FD 136: read failure: (104) Connection reset by peer

> which squid version do you run?

Now we use squid-2.5.10
