Can't get reverse proxy to redirect

I cannot get a reverse proxy to redirect
requests to save my life. I'm simply trying to redirect
http requests from the squid proxy to several web servers
like this:

www.squidproxy.com -> www.somehost.com
                  |
                   -> www.someotherhost.com

Can you please show me an example configuration?
