Hi Henrik, I am using Openna Linux 1.0 (2.4.31). I install Squid from it's source, not RPM. And I use the default of setting, did not change any parameter. The older version run very good (2.5S10). This problem started when I use S10 + patches (not remember which one). Thx & Rgds, Awie ----- Original Message ----- From: "Henrik Nordstrom" <hno@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "Awie" <awie@xxxxxxxxxxx> Cc: "Squid-users" <squid-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, September 28, 2005 05:20 Subject: Re: Error in STABLE11 > On Tue, 27 Sep 2005, Awie wrote: > > > I found message below after upgrading the Squid to version STABLE11 (it was > > not happen in version S10). > > > > [root@Squid root]# squid -k shutdown > > squid: ERROR: Could not send signal 15 to process 637: (1) Operation not > > permitted > > > > Would you tell me how can I fix it? > > Odd.. seems to work fine for me. > > What OS are you using? > > Are you using the chroot squid.conf directive? > > Regards > Henrik >
