Hello ,

thank you for the response...

Are you sure X-Forwarded-For directive will work ?

I need Squid make my clients visible to the arbitrator.

client----squid----arbi

arbi should be able to see that http https was actualy requested by the client , and NOT the proxy server.

is this what X-Forwarded-For will do ?

Sincerely
Robert B

Hello everyone,

Is it possible to tell squid to forward ip addressess when it
is requesting from the web?

 My problem is :

 LAN----SQUID---ARBI---FIREWALL

Arbi see's all traffic coming from squid, so it cannot do
proper Bandwidth Management

You need the X-Forwarded-For directive,

Check your squid.conf for the directive information.

Armin
