Ok, you mean if we send "GET /index.html HTTP/1.0" and get "HTTP/1.1 200 OK" means web server is broken because its a HTTP/1.1 reply. But if I perform a similar test to most websites, i.e. www.cnn.com, www.msn.com, etc, we will also get a HTTP/1.1 reply.
