Hi all,
I just have a simple question, I hope. I'm running SquidNT 2.5 Stable 10 on
a Windows 2003 server. I was wondering which fs has better performance for
squid on a windows server platform, ufs or awin32? UFS is the default, but
if I could get better performance out of awin32 I would want to change. I
have found very little information on awin32 on the internet. Any input or
experiences with these fs types on SquidNT would be very helpful.

awin32 is an aufs clone based on Windows native threads, so performance gains should be similar.

But I have got some recent report about awin32 problems on Windows 2003 SP1. Because I'm still investigating about, it should be more safe for now select the ufs fs on Windows 2003.
