The url is what pops up when we click the button to check our Hotmail in
MSN/Windows Messenger. But the url also fails when manually typing it in.
Broken MSIE browser, getting very confused when switching from http to
https (or something like that, I don't remember the exact details. See
archives).
You can workaround the browser bug by using "client_persisten_connections
off", or complain at Microsoft until they fix their browser.
