Hi! I'm testing squid as proxy for ntrip-streams (geographical field data for positioning GPS-clients). The problem is, that squid doesn't forward certain requests, although it responds every packet as would it forwarded correctly. Squid version: 2.5.STABLE9 Part of squid.conf: acl streamingserver dst 172.28.144.79 no_cache deny streamingserver always_direct allow streamingserver http://www.fischernetze.de/ftp/test.snf The link to an ethereal-sniff shows how squid (14.1.5.2) answers on every request from 212.144.18.198 until the first http continuation occurres. From this point all responses are "faked" - no posted continuation will be forwarded! The principle is of follows: after every 3-9 continuations the client sent the server verifies the received data and will also send on his part a http continuation with correction data receiving by the client. The complete communication is very short. Another attempt with transparent proxy configuration produced the same result. Any ideas how to resolve this? Why doesn't squid forward http continuations??
