Hi all

long time away.

Tried to secure my squid gateway server with a

iptables -P INPUT DROP policie but it blocked all
clients browsing.

Does anyone have the whole configuration to restrict
unneeded connections?

Want to make it safe and cut bandwidth consumer
connections

Thanks, Daniel Navarro

Hi Daniel
telll connection on which ports u want to drop????. bcuz if u use iptables -P INPUT DROP it drops alll the connections on alll the ports. so sfter that u have to open specific required ports like port of squid server stc.
Regards
Azeem
