is this true even for FreeBSD 5? It should have good thread support even in
libc (FreeBSD 4 only in kernel, or using the linuxthreads library).

I haven't seen any comment telling "FreeBSD 5 threads are OK for aufs" nor
"FreeBSD 5 threads are not OK for aufs"...
