 You may need this patch :

     http://www.squid-cache.org/Versions/v2/2.5/bugs/#squid-2.5.STABLE7-half_closed_POST

 OR , you could have a go with the 2.5.STABLE8-RC4 on this box (too), if you so
 desire.
