can anybody help me?
I use ldap_auth and ldap_group modules to authenticate users with Novel NDS for internet accsess.
The problem is to differentiate the states, i.e.
- wrong username (username not found in the Novell tree)
- wrong password (error code 49 from Novell LDAP)
- no permision (user not a member of an group - checked via squid_ldap_group)
- locked account (error code 53 from Novell LDAP)
is there a possibility to check these states and have different messages on each from squid ? Thanx.
No, you cannot differentiate between those different error states with the current incarnation of these authenticators and helpers. They only produce OK or ERR. If you use debug mode they can produce more output but it is useless for the purpose of integrating with squid.
