Actually, the g_return_val_if_fail() is not needed. I was being extra careful to eliminate the warning. Just initialized orig_argv[argc] = NULL; seems enough as it might consider that argc is zero and we would pass garbage on the execvp() with orig_argv[0] instead of NULL.
