And do you have issues using "Native console" (.vv files) in this environment? This "deprecation" message in bugzilla has probably been there for a very long time, and was more a "would be nice" notice than some official plan ;) However, when browsers stop loading npapi plugins, I expect that we'll push strongly for switching to .vv files rather than working on an alternative extension/plugin.
