 The guest OS: Fedora-22-MATE LiveCD(x86_64).

I am embarrassed that the "decode-glz.c: 374 decode_header: 1024x768, id 0, ref 0" is the size that the display has at initialization.

I see from this log that you are attempting to resize the display by 1
pixel increments. Does it also fail if you try slighty more significant
changes? What is your guest OS?
