You could use this PATCH to play with keypress-delay. Here the default
is 100ms so, maybe 10ms could improve in your case.

I don't think this is patch should go upstrem tho, I would like to
understand the root problem of your problem to have a proper fix for it.

To change the keypress-delay value to 10, do:
export SPICE_KEYPRESS_DELAY=10

And then run spicy or remote-viewer.
